Lidl Austria has announced a recall for the 300g Freshona Bio Beerenmischung, a frozen organic berry mix produced by Jütro Tiefkühlkost GmbH & Co. KG. The recall follows the detection of potential norovirus contamination, which can trigger sudden vomiting, diarrhea, and significant fluid loss. These symptoms are particularly dangerous for infants, young children, pregnant women, and the elderly. Affected products include best-before dates 22.02.2028, 23.02.2028, 02.03.2028, 14.04.2026, 17.04.2028, and 18.04.2028, with batch numbers L220226P3, L220226G3, L220226Z3, L220226D3, L230226D3, L030326Z3, L030326H3, L030326W3, L150426P3, L180426H3, L180426L3, L190426L3, and L190426N3. Customers can return the product to any Lidl branch for a full refund without a receipt. Other Freshona or Jütro products are not affected.
