Three Signa Group Units File for Bankruptcy
Three Signa Group companies linked to Vienna's historic Postsparkasse building filed for bankruptcy following a failed share deal.
Three additional companies within the Signa Group applied for bankruptcy proceedings at the Vienna Commercial Court on Thursday. The filings involve Georg-Coch-Platz Management GmbH, GCP ZwiCo 2025 GmbH, and Georg-Coch-Platz Inter GmbH & Co KG, all associated with the Otto Wagner-designed Postsparkasse property in Vienna's first district. Georg-Coch-Platz Management GmbH is a subsidiary of Signa Prime Capital Invest, which became insolvent in June 2026. The management firm owns GCP ZwiCo 2025 GmbH and acts as the personally liable partner for Georg-Coch-Platz Inter GmbH & Co KG and the already insolvent Georg-Coch-Platz Immobilien GmbH & GmbH OG. The insolvencies were triggered by a failed share deal involving the latter entity. The companies have no employees, and their total assets and liabilities are currently unknown.
